Summer Plans

The weather hasn't been ideal in some places to show that spring is here but it's never too early to start planning the places you may want to go or goals you want to accomplish for the summer time.

1. Attend a concert
A lot of places have outdoor free concerts, check Facebook pages and even park websites to see if there will be one in your area. Concerts are a great way to make new friends and soak up the sun.

2. Road trip
If you don't have much money for flights because, well, we know that the fares are kind of pricy during the summer time, plan a road trip with your friends if you/they have a car. You can figure out how much gas money you will need to get where you're going which will most likely be way cheaper than taking a plan.

3. BBQ's
Have a cookout! Cookouts are always fun, friends+food= excitement. You can have a cookout in your backyard or at your local park if it has the amenities to do so.

4. Job
If you want a little bit of responsibility, I say the best way to do this is to get a job. You can apply to all the places in the mall or in your city. If you are under 17 you may need a working permit so make sure you get that from your school before school ends if you need a working permit in your state. Having a job allows you to save up money for college shopping, clothes, planning more activities because you aren't on a budget.

Set goals that you want to accomplish this summer whether it's beating a video game in a certain amount of hours, saving up a specific amount money, visiting places. Its better when you have goals so that you don't feel like your summer was wasted once school starts up again.
