Homecoming Themes that will be Remembered

There are many homecoming themes that have already been done and over done.  Something fun and creative is the way to go. Here are a few ideas of themes that are creative and will be remembered for the years to come!

Award Show:
Dress as your favorite celebrity and walk the red carpet.  Ladies, your look can go either way with wearing a gown like Katherine Heigl that will stun everyone, or pull a Nicki Minaj and put on your pink hair and crazy outfit for a look that will have everyone talking.  Guys, you as well can show some creativity with your looks and make it fun when following with the theme.  Get a little crazy and do a bad boy look with some rock and roll.  Take Benji and Joel Madden as inspiration as you dress a little punk while you go to the award show.  You can also use Taylor Lautner as inspiration and keep it classy in a clean suite while you ditch the tie to impress the ladies.  

               




Superheroes:
Yes, super heroes theme might have been a little outdone, but turn your gymnasium into a comic book. Each corner can represent different superheroes such as Spiderman, Superman and Superman, Batman and Batgirl.  Be inspired and don’t only become artistic when it comes to your attire but with the gymnasium as well. You can even make up your own superhero names such as Taylor the great and have your friends create a theme with everyone being a made up super hero.  It is a fun way to be different and change things up.  



My Tie:
Need a date? Well with this theme everyone will have a date. Have the guys bring a tie and put it in a bin, have the girls come and pick from the bunch.  As the girl lifts the tie, the guy can claim his tie and his date! The night of homecoming, ladies wear that tie and make it look good with your beautiful dress, guys be tie-less as your date will sport your tie.  It is a fun way to meet new people.  You can even make it a group thing where each group has their own bin of ties. Be creative and turn it into a theme that will want to be repeated!
                          

When it comes to thinking about a theme for homecoming it does not always depend on the theme itself.  A lot what matters is what work goes into it.  Make an original theme different by integrating things that inspire you and your classmates. Have fun and happy homecoming!
